Yahoo decided a best answer for a previous question I had. The answer was that Japanese cars are the best in the world. I don’t agree.

Japanese cars are not the best cars in the world. Do you agee with this statement?

some of them last longer like Toyota
I will say this if you keep buying the japs, korean, european, and german cars and trucks, they will suck our american dollar right from our pocket, they will own this country. NAFTA is killing this country and a jack a** democrat Clinton was the one who put that in effect. We will be better off when the republicans have majority, history proves that. Democrats run this country into the ground with poor decisions. American made american cars are smarter for us to buy than american made Jap cars, one reason our dollar value is sinking.

Well I have a Toyota with more than 300,000 miles on it, and hasn’t been rebuilt yet.
Sure it runs a bit ruff, but it still runs,and the trans is starting to slip.
Not sure I would call it the best cars in the world, but I have owned Chevys, Fords, Chryslers, ,VW GTI (a very fun car) Datson (one of the best I ever had) and a Toyota.
The Toyota and Datson have never left me stranded.
Japanese cars are the best. I agree coz I have a toyoto which has abt 218K miles on it and still runs gr8. and looks like it can run for another 50K without issues. By the way I am the 3rd owner of this car and got it for 7000$ when it had abt 110K miles on it. I dont think some european cars can do this good.
They are the best cars. They’ll run forever, especially Hondas.
Clearly Toyota makes the best cars overall. They sell the most world wide. Honda makes excellent vehicles. They just don’t sell as many.
By price, cost of maintenance, gas millage, resale value, and years of usage…I am sorry to break it to you but they are the best in those categories.
What cars would you ever consider to be better? Im not sure about Japanese cars specifically but Asian cars in general are better. Ive got a Hyundai (Korean) and it has never broken down on me in years.
Ehh… Japanese cars are good, but I wouldn’t say the BEST. Not to mention that’s more a question that depends on taste. Maybe for you they’re the best, but I prefer german cars or something like that.

Well if they aren’t the best, they’re damn near close! My aunt had a honda del sol that had 326,000 miles and still runs. It’s freaking amazing and awesome!
I agree that they are not the best cars. They only have better marketing to convince people that they are better than they really are.
To prove my point. Open your favorite Internet search page. Search for “Toyota Sludge” or “Toyota Rust”, without the quotes. Toyota claims that these problems are from owner neglect or improper maintenance. But this is too widespread to be some isolated owners neglecting their vehicles. It kind of shows how well Toyota really stands behind their product.
My brother has a 1990 Buick with over 350,000 miles on it. Does this mean that Buicks are better than Hondas? My Brother-in-law has a 1985 Chevrolet truck with over 400,000 miles on it. Does this mean that Chevys are better than Hondas?
One of my cars is a 15 year old Pontiac. It has never broken down. It uses no oil. It always starts. It always gets me where I need to go. It has never had any major mechanical failures, only normal wear and tear items. It still rides and drives well. I have a 9 year old Chevy that has given me equally as good service. So try and convince me that my GM products aren’t made well.
